Prof. Pol’s extensive research background includes electrochemical engineering, nano-material and composite technology, colloid and interfacial science, surface chemistry, and environmental engineering.

He is a leader in the field of electrochemical energy storage technologies, primarily the scalable design and effective optimization of electrode materials for lithium-ion, lithium-sulfur, and sodium-ion systems.
